Orthoscopics - Solving the problems of Visual Dyslexia by Colour Correction

The visual processing assessment

An eye examination is required initially, then you will be asked detailed questions about your visual perception and other matters. Some tests will be undertaken to determine how you perceive colour, space and
movement, and how your eyes change depending on stimulus, etc. A substantial report can be generated to enable you to get the most appropriate perceptual treatment.

The Optometrist will advise you on the most appropriate course of action. Including the eye examination, you will be at the practice for at least an hour.

Some neurological conditions require special tests, please enquire.

Often, astonishing results are reported during the tests, improved vision or relief from eyestrain being quite common. The tests are in no way unpleasant and are suitable for all from the age of about seven years.

Experience has shown that the colour response will change over time as the 'pathways' to the brain are cleared by the use of colour. For this reason it is recommended that each child is reviewed every six months.

The ORTHOSCOPICS SYSTEM

The Orthoscopics System consists of computerised assessment and prescribing instruments. They provide an unparalleled set of tools for the Optometrist to determine the patient's optimum colour response. This optimum response is then integrated with the effects of differing illumination. With this data, lenses can be prescribed incorporating optimised colour filtering. These will at least minimise and usually eliminate the effects of visual perceptual difficulties e.g. those found in visual dyslexia and migraines.

The unique Orthoscopics System was the product of collaboration from some of the top optical companies in the world.
